    Hi,

I am having trouble logging into my Samba server (192.168.0.3) when I open the Workgroup computers, the linux box is there, I attempt to open a directory on it and the response is:

Cannot open multiple connections to a server using a different username or password.

I don't know what is wrong, it was working until I reinstalled windows XP, I tried c:\net **** commands to disconnect an already connected drive map but none exist.

Why does XP think a connection already exists when it doesn't?

Is there some netlogon at boot I can turn off?

    Thanks in advance

    XP Pro?

Has the Samba box been booted recently?

Is there only the one PC having the problem? If so, will a different user account logon work?
