When I looked at my list of program's allowed to go online, I noticed Microsoft Word 97 on the list. Does Word send info about me to M$ or does it just connect to update itself?

I think that if you ever opened a .doc from the net, it should have prompted you to allow.. Or if you updated Office..

I've got a question about kerio: how did Winword get on that list?
In ZAP, I've got to allow a program to communicate out.

I've had problems with word 2k's updater, insists on starting up at bootup, despite msconfig and Startupcop and trying to get out.
Solved the problem by renaming the object name.

    Regards - Charles

I must've accidentally clicked to allow it access, but I removed it from the list. The only thing I use Word for is to write documents. I don't use the online features at all.
