I have it and use it all the time. Sound is great and video depends on the channel your viewing and what kind of connection you have. Mine is hooked to cable and works great. :D

How does it work? You just connect it to the TV?

    Hi Geordie

This type of add ons allow your computer monitor to display like a TV. Think of it as a very fancy TV. Provide cable or broadcast signal input and the built in tuner provides upto 125 TV channel selections. You can also input signal from VCR, Video cam.. any device outputting a TV signal. They can capture frames, video editing, create movie clips, video conferencing, allowing views in full screen or a small picture sized to sit in the corner of your computer screen. For complete details, goto this page. There are many different brands with numerious options. Pick out the card that best serves your needs.
...... PS ............... I had one these 3 computer systems ago. If your use is purely watching TV, just go out and buy a little 13" TV from the neighbor for $50 and sit it close to your computing area. Bigger screen view and does not take away from your monitor real estate. If you NEED the additional features, buy the add on and the TV comes along with the deal via your monitor.
