Resolved WinPatrol PLus Offer

    Evidently for two days (ending tomorrow at noon) you can get WinPatrol Plus lifetime license for 99 cents.

    I remember using WinPatrol years ago but frankly I haven't used it in many years and saw no reason to start up again. Does anyone here use it and if so, what value do you find it and if not, why not.

    Used the Free Win Patrol about 3 years ago, but Vista UAC does the same for me. Seems like a good buy at that price though. Cheers Neil.

    I bought WinPatrol with a one year licence, it caused nothing but trouble and finally erased WinPatrol from my computer. Registry part of WinPatrol, required upmost care, to such an extent I required to make a return to factory settings. Perhaps I was unlucky using WinPatrol.
