Hi I have an error any one know what this means?
When and only when (otherwise pc is totally fine) I try to use disk 2 of my system restore disks ( I was gonna grab an app off of it) I get the following error (in this order)-

winmenu has caused an error in unknown winmenu will now close.

then i get this error right after i click ok to close it-

application error exception E convert error in module winmenu.exe at 00008A98 "is not a valid integer value "

and I cant get into this particular disk as of yet.
I had just finished redoing my pc and it was working fine and then the support guy at gateway had me click on a file in the d drive to install a tv tuner driver for my pc on this particular disk I am now having trouble with (which he admitted was not the right file AFTER he told me to open it) and after that I cant get this disk to load properly. I told him about the error and he blew me off and said it was my fault because I clicked open the cd drive too fast but that is unlikely becuse after that it wont load this cd. Is this some kind of protection protecting this cd from running??? Anyway like i said its running like a kitten other than this problem. But how do i resolve it?
Thanks any comments would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi imclueless
Sorry we missed your question. Have you made any progress? Any chance you've got a restore point to go back on?

Nope still cant use that particular disk and I didnt get the chance to create a restore point because of the timing of the incident was right after we were finished setting up the computer after a total wipe. But oh well what can ya do? It works fine other wise so Im not going to sweat it. But thanks for the help. :D

That's puzzuling. ME's SR will create an initial restore point if there are none. In this respect, it works the same way XP's does.
