winfax

    OS windows2000 professional a application WINFAX is in
    program files.
    i have a fax machine LEXMARK X125 INSTALLED AND FUNCTIONING.
    how can i stop winfax and fax?
    it is not listed in control panel add/remove
    i have tried deleting it and several files are found using search.
    when a call comes in on the phone line it loads in tray
    conflicting with the LEXMARK X125.
    i am totally confused.

    thank you it stopped the other fax and the LexmarkX125 works fine.
    there are still some fax files that come up with a search
    even though i deleted many as per the instructions.
    i hesitate to push my luck.
    please comment.
