For the last 3 days, the site has not been working properly in FF 3.0.7.

I can't select smilies, can't select formatting - nothing works all of a sudden. Has anything changed or are you making the site IE8 compatible ?

I'm using FF 3.07 and saw no issues.
FYI, there's nothing a Webmaster need do to make a site IE8 compatable.

Then it must be NoScript that's interfering. Would try without it.

The points made in thyat article are moot. IE8 has compatability mode right on the toolbar and can be toggled on or off. If anything, it will force developers to start using standards for Web pages and Web apps, rather than the way it's been for the last 15+ years; one set of pages for all browsers and another set just for IE.
