Resolved windows7 network windows xp: cannot see windows xp

    windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. windows xp Home Ed. 32 bit.

    I cannot see windows xp on my Windows 7, I can see windows 7 on my windows xp.

    In windows7 I have my Homegroup name the same as in windows xp
    In windows7 I have all sharing check off in Network Sharing and I still cannot see windows xp computer in windows7

    When you boot up the AP machine - do you log in with a user name and password?

    If not - enabling that will help. Click on start->run and type-> control userpasswords2

    Place a check mark in the User Must Enter... box.

    windows7 network windows xp

    I found the problem I went to control panel network sharing center and in Home networking picture of the House I click on it and put my Homegroup name in there and it fix it I can see my xp computer now.
