Windows XP2 installation

    I have tried to install SP2 on my Windows XP but it always froze everyting on rebooting. I have installed the BIOS upfate for the Pentium 4 processor and the SP2 fix (KB885626). Will this resolve the problem or will I have to use the Recovery Console option?
