Do you get an error during boot up like "No OS found? "

If the BIOS isn't showing the hard disk values, then the disk is not being recognized. Either the drive has died or there's a cable loose. Check the connections.

I get the Windows XP logo, then the error message that Windows did not close properly. And these 3 options : start windows normally, start with net working, start with command prompt. Whatever options I used, none worked.

If you get into Windows, back up your data. I might expect the hard drive has problems.

Suggestion: Run CHKDSK /r from a boot disk.
