Windows XP system restore not working

    Hello sirs,

    Recently my laptop frequently hanged (Screen freezes) and i have to hard reboot the laptop to bring the system normal. Daily i reboot atleast 5 to 6 times.
    After a couple of days i thought of restoring to earlier good configuration but the system restore is not taking to the earlier good configuration.
    I checked the event viewer and found prior to hanging "windows service centre started" message was recorded, so i disabled that service and started working but again facing the same problem of hanging. This system error log shows "service control manager with the event id 7035 and 7036 ". i use kaspersky internet security as my anti virus tool.
    I would be grateful if some one assists me in finding a solution for my problem.

    You'll have to post the full info on the Event ID error.

    You can double click on any error for more details, and there is also a button to copy the error to your clipboard for easy copying & pasting.
