Resolved Windows XP Startup and close down sound

    A friend has a Win Xp computer that has a voice calling out when it starts and closes down. (Presumably someone has previously recorded a sound file)
    She would like to stop this or go to the default sounds

    I have tried to find where this problem is located but had no luck

    Can someone please advise how to do this
