Windows XP paging files

    I find it hard to believe that no one else has this problem, but I have not found it mentioned anywhere else. When I boot--or sometimes when I run multiple programs--Windows XP informs me that I have no or insufficient paging files. I have followed the WinXP instructions for setting the paging file size, but it does not seem to accept my changes. (I am the administrator.) Anybody have any advice?
