Windows XP not getting past normal install

    I am trying to load a C: drive with authentic windows XP into another PC, but PC stalls at 'Normal Instal' friends PC had coffee spilt over it and blew power unit and mother board.:mad:

    Unable to get past 'Normal Instal

    Normal Instal is one of the options that came up on the screen with Safe Mode etc. I let it go into Normal Instal but it would not pogress any further. However this was an attempt to get a friends hardrive up and running on another PC,when I found the PSU and Motherboard had blown on his. It was an eMachine620 that seems to have some history of PSU and Motherboard blowing. He is now going to purchase another. Thank you for your help, this topic is finished thank you. Spanner
