Does this mean you have just changed over from using workgroups to having a domain and using the 2K3 server as your only domain controller?

XP not finding a domain is usually caused by DNS misconfiguration

When you DCPROMO'd the server did you run the wizard and accept defaults?

If so then you will have a DNS server on the server

Ensure that the PCs have the IP address of the server in their DNS field and make sure that you are joining the domain by FQDN e.g. domain.com etc

You can still "see" the domain as it will broadcast to find it but this wont work to actually join it
