I have been working with Windows 2000 Pro and was quite happy with my netscape 7.2 Mail program . I upgraded to Windows XP Pro and I no longer see or can download and update my Netscape 7.2 program and the mail associated . I have lost all my contacts etc. CAN I get 7.2 and the mail program to open in XP or is it a lost cause.............

    Peter,
I don't know much about Windows 2k, but from what I read, the structure of the profile folders, where your personal info is located is the same for both 2k and XP, i.e. you have hidden folders. But you did not say what you did to upgrade to XP Pro. Backing up folders is essential as you upgrade. Did you do it. Please, as a starter, refer to Ramona's Netscape Solutions

    Welcome to the Forum, Realvalu!

    Realvalu,

To ensure we're on the same page, you have upgraded to Windows XP Pro, and you have Netscape 7.2 installed, but are unable to access the program?

As Westside advised, the Profiles folder is in the same location as it was in W2K.
Do you have a Netscape 7.2 shortcut on your Desktop?
Can you find the Netscape 7.2 Program Files located in: C:\Program Files\Netscape

Also, what is the problem with downloading 7.2? We will need much more detail in order to be able to help with your problems.

    Thanks!
