Windows Xp keeps restarting and cannot get into safe mode

    I was trying to watch a movie in windows media player but my codecs were expired so i proceeded to download the codec update which I opened and it quickly restarted my computer now it reads "Windows did not start successfully a recent hardware or software chnage might have caused this ". I have tried all the modes listed below that and all restart my computer again. Please help!

    Do you have a Windows XP CD that you can boot from? If you don't have a Windows XP CD then you might be SOL. :(
