Windows Xp Installation Freezes When Installing Devices

Hi,

I just built a new computer with an Intel Motherboard DG45ID, a Seagate HDD 500gb and I'm using the integrated devices, with a Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0ghz

All Parts are new.

So anyway when I try to install Windows Xp via CD-ROM it freezes on "Installing Devices" when the progress bar reaches the "I" in "Devices" Then it will proceed to reboot and this process loops over and over again...

Can anyone help me? Thanks

Did you take the cd out when restarting so it won't continuously loop?

 

Are you overclocking the CPU or RAM ?

Also try changing the RAM.

 

It's probably a problem with your ram...
Try to test it.

 

Well I just said Forget it and bought a new ASUS mobo, cause the Intel motherboard was the problem. Didn't want to detect devices.
