I suppose it to be just with the 64bit version , since the problem does not arise using the same Dreamweaver disc and same personal web-site under construction, when run on my laptop which has Windows XP Pro' but not 64 bit.
The problem is that as soon as I click on Help ( either from the menu bar or from the button in any context where it is offered) I get a comonly used - throughout Windows - error message saying that Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close, and the program then shuts down and anything unsaved is lost.
I have explored the forums in Adobe ( who seem to own Macromedia who produce Dreamweaver) and reported to Adobe as a bug , but had no answers.
Any suggestions ? ( apart from use my lap-top - which is obvious, but less convenient ! )
