[Windows wont play any CD's: CD Driver shows error 39]

    Hi

    I have a NEC laptop with Windows it wont let me play any CD's it says that the CD Driver has an error. Code 39. Troubleshooting suggests to uninstall and reinstall. I have tried this but doesn't work. Do you have any other suggestions??
