Can I expect any problems if I install the just released sp2? I just read online that Norton 360 ver3 is not compatible with it. Should I download it?

If you're using Norton 360 ver3 and you trust the site etc...then I'd wait.

I'd wait a month or so anyway.

    Steve,

Thanks for the quick response. Am using Norton 360 ver3 on my laptop, and Norton Internet Security on this computer. Think I will wait awhile.

Normally, I don't rush with service packs, but I tried to install it on my laptop today, through Windows update, and it failed twice.
I was really surprised, because it never, ever happened to me with any single update.
I suspect, some running program may be interfering, so I downloaded standalone file, and I'll give it a shot, time permitting.
I'm planning to disable Avast, and Comodo firewall to start with.

    Hi Marv6,

This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team.

Norton 360 version 3, as well as Norton AntiVirus and Internet Security 2009 are compatible with Windows Vista Service Pack 2 and you should not experience any problems after it is installed. Just be sure to manually run LiveUpdate from within Norton 360 after you install the Service Pack, to make sure that you have the latest program updates applied.

    Thank you,
    Mike

    Hi Marvin,

You are very welcome and I'm glad I was able to provide you with the correct compatibility information for Norton products.

    Have a great day,
    Mike
