Windows Vista windows vista how to enable asking save to download file

    I recently installed windows vista home premium
    whenever i download any file from website , it gets straight in to temp folder.I want to know
    1)where is this temporary folder
    2)how to enable option for saving donwloaded file to folder of my choice .

    First go to Start and open Windows Explorer, in the left pane you will see a list of folders, you might see a Download Folder, if you don't you will have to make one.

    Next when you click on the file you want to download a window will open with 3 choices - Run Save Cancel. Choose Save then a widow comes up and on the left pane again in the list you will see your Download folder. Click it and then click Save again.

    This is what I do and it is easy and handy.
