Whenever I start a program(i.e. Internet Explorer) and I choose to minimize it, the program will not show up on my toolbar. When I run the task manager it shows that Internet Explorer is still running but I can't access it on the toolbar. It's like it just disappears...and the only way to get it back is through the task manager. Any ideas on what my problemo might be?

When you right click in your toolbar area and choose properties, is the box for "Keep taskbar on top of other Windows" ticked?

Yes. That just implies that when you have other windows open, the toolbar is still showing over and above those open windows. My problem is that when I minimize any program it does not show up on the toolbar allowing me to maximize it. The program will still be running, but in order for me to reach it, I have to open it from the task manager.

If you hold down the ALT key and tap the TAB key a few times, does it cycle thru a list of icons for the running apps so you can select that way?

Go to Kellys Korner, scroll down to line 240 and click on the link, "Programs aren't minimized in the Taskbar," to download that .vbs file. Run it and see if that fixes things.
