Hi everybody, this is myfirst post tothe forum,so hi everybody

I have an issue with a Windows 2003 server(sp1) which is our domain controller and time controller for all of our pc's & servers.

The problem is that the time has come 5 mins ahead of realtime,i have a few questions relating to this.

    - how can i check to see where the server is picking up time-ie just from system bios or from website?

    - if I do refresh time ie from 10:35am to 10:30am I would expect there to be massive issues with files databases etc with time stamps, if the are stamped with 10:30am and the time is put back to 10:30am what happens?

    thx for any advice!!!!

Five minutes shouldn't affect a database....Five days could cause an issue..

You try to run a report from 09/01/07 to today....You might not find the info if the data is dated 09/23/07...But running the report from 09/01/07 to 09/30/07 would find it..
