This one is strange to me. I have my Display desktop properties set to Windows Classic. This display sets the taskbar in sort of a gray color.

Every now and then when I boot up, the taskbar color has been changed to a very dark bright blue. The rest of the desktop stays the same

I click on Desktop properties and it still shows as Windows Classic. I change it away from Classic and then back and apply and now everything is back to normal. I don't appear to have any spyware, viruses etc and can not find any sort of pattern which cause this.

Anyone have any ideas? It is a minor problem but an annoying one and I don't like mysteries.

    Thanks, Jorjab

When it happens - will it stay the new color after a reboot and no other changes made?

Not sure - never thought to try that. Next time it happens I will reboot. Will post any results. Not sure when it will happen again - sometimes once a week sometimes more sometimes less than that.

    Steve,

When I reboot the screen goes back to the normal color. Only thing was all my startup programs were up before I rebooted but did not otherwise run anything.
