Resolved windows store and other apps won't launch

Dell laptop running windows 10 won't launch windows store or download pictures from an SD card. Can someone help with this?

Hi mary651, You could try this MS Fix. Windows Store not working in Windows 10 - Automated Fix see if that gets it going. Neil.

 

I tried this previously and it didn't work for me. Said it couldn't find anything wrong. Thank you both for trying to help me. Hopefully my solution below will help someone else.

Good news though! I remembered that on other computers that I have, I went to the control panel and chose "Recovery ", then "Open System restore" and in that window check "show more restore points ", this should give you a date that is prior to when the problem started with your computer, and tell it to restore it to that date. It will not affect any of your documents, pictures, etc. only any changes that you made to the system and updates that have been installed since that date. I did this and it fixed the problem of launching the store and also the problem with the SD card importing pictures.
