Hi, when ever I leave the computer on for long periods it hangs on shut down. Long meaning 8-10 hours. If shut down after a couple hours, it shuts down fine. Any way to alleviate this bother some issue?
    Thanks

Is the pc setup to use sleep mode or hidbernation?

When it hangs - does it do it when you've been using right before shut down or has the pc been sitting idle?

Hi, sleep mode or hidbernation is not set up. It does it (hangs) after many hours of use.

Will it evently shut down if you let it sit and try?
Does it list any applications that aren't responding?

Do you use different apps when it's been on a long time compared to shorter times? It come be one of the apps you're using...

No, it will not shut down if I let it sit. No application "not responding" messages come up. I basically just use 3-4 apps. Mail & browsers. I will read through M/S's
    Trouble shooting resources.

    thanks
