windows shutdown

    I Have a virus that automatically shuts down my computer. It says my computer will shutdown and comes up with
    'c:\windows\system32\lsass.exe'
    Any help would be appreciated

    Almost certainly the w32.sasser.worm

    Run the cleaning tool from the link above and then load the latest Microsoft security patches. MS04-011 would have prevented this particular critter.
