Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server print problem

We have been running Windows Server 2003 as a Terminal Server for over a year. Recently we have encountered a problem where the printers configured on the TS simply diappear from the user's sessions. The event logs shows a scrolling list of printers being deleted and recreated.

Sometimes if they log off and log back on to the TS again their printers will resurface, but not always. Sometimes if they simply wait long enough their printers will appear again.

The users are running Windows XP SP2 on their desktops.

Very strange. Any ideas?

 

Sounds like your spooler service is crashing.
