Hello me again, asking another windows server 2003 question. Right when I try and add our works Minolta PagePro 8L with the print server wizard I get an error asking me to add the printer driver first using the driver wizard. Even if I add a driver using that wizard it doesnt let me actually use it, it still says the same mesage about installing the driver first before hand.

Just wondering anyone had any ideas about this as we want the server to be the print server.

    Cheers

    /b

Oh the actual driver for the printer is an NT 4.0 driver, so this could be something do with it not working. But driverguide does say that the driver does work for 2k3 as well ://

Could be way off here but.........have you tried installing it as a "local" printer, then adding to server (delete local when done) ? Also you may have better luck with the 98 drivers.
