    Hi,
I just had a quick question. I run Windows Server 2003 SP2 as a domain controller, and whenever I install software it comes up with a wizard in the background saying 'Click Next when installation has finished', and then I click next and it disappears. What does this do? My guess is that it blocks inbound network connections, but i'm sure im wrong.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

You did not say but this must be a Terminal Server.

Terminal Servers must be in Install mode to install anything!

This is a normal prompt from Terminal Server.

You would be advised to do installs and windows updates from the Add/Remove Add new programs and answer this query "Yes" if the install failed or not.
