well my desktop will shut off after like 15min and when it boots back to desktop it says its recovered from a serious error... so i came online and they said i need to uncheck automatically restart, so i did, and it shut down again like i knew it would.. but now, when i start it up the "hp" blue sceeen pops up, but after that the screen goes black and windows never loads.... prior to the windows not loading. i had done a full system recovery and cleaned the fan inside... i was told i might need to take the casing off the power supply box and clean it all inside. but i cant get the power supply out or the casing off , ive tried.... do you know what could be wrong?

i know i need to post the code but since the pc wont even load up now i cant get the code to copy down :( i dont know much about pcs, so if u think u know what could be wrong could u try to explain it simply? thanks so much.

    Welcome mashandra.

Could you please give us the url of the online forum from where you got this advise ?

Taking cover off the power supply is a potential dangerous act as very large voltages are present inside even when the PC is off.

    0x1000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M

A kernel mode program generated an exception which the error handler didn’t catch. These are nearly always hardware compatibility issues (which sometimes means a driver issue or a need for a BIOS upgrade).

Download our Dump Data Collection Tool, run and debug C:\DOCUME~1\HP_ADM~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERf652.dir00\Mini011009-02.dmp and post the log here (copy/paste).
