Windows Messenger 4.7 doesnt sign in automatically

Im on XP Home running Windows Messenger 4.7.

I upgraded to the MSN Messenger 5.0 and realised it sucked, so I uninstalled it and stayed with Windows Messenger 4.7.

Now Messenger doesnt sign in automatically when I log onto the computer. The program starts when Windows Starts, it just doesnt sign in automatically. It used to before I updated to 5.0, now after Ive uninstalled 5.0 its not. Ive tried installing over it by downloading it again from here but it hasnt worked either.

Any ideas how to get it automatically signing in again as soon as the computer starts?

I'm pretty sure that when you upgrade Messenger, it returns all settings back to their defaults...one of which is requiring manual sign-on.
