I get the odd indeterminate bsod on my XP Pro m/c with 1 Gb RAM and have run this tool - it indicates some errors in memory.

However I have also run Memory Diagnostics (DocMemory PC Memory Diagnostic Software V1.45a "“ 2001 &
FreeDOS version 2.0) which indicates NO errors.

Comments, anybody, on the relative merits/dependability/effectiveness of these two applets?

Incidentally would you expect 512 Mb (both Crucial) sticks to be completely error free?

    YES.

And mine are (tested with the Microsoft tool).

For people that don't know, here's the article about the new MS Memory Checker Tool: Microsoft Releases Windows Memory Diagnostic
