Windows Media Player will not install

    I cannot seem to install Windows Media Player. I have the latest version, but when I go to install, I get presented with either "express" or "custom ". I have tried both, but when they get to "importing music library" the program shuts off and opens back up a few seconds later asking again if I want "express" or "custom. "

    OK, I ran that and Windows Media Player works fine on one profile, but still does the same thing on the profile I am on now.

    Yes, this is the same profile as in the other thread. I tried following that site, but when I click everything that it says to move, it says that it will take over 2 hours to copy and paste all the files.

    Sort out one problem at a time :) - stick with Dave on the other thread for the time being and resolve that first.

    BTW the 2 hour initial estimate is just that - my guess is that after 30 secs it would be down to a few minutes.
