    Hi,

For sometime now I have wondered how Windows Media Player is able to present the album cover of mp3 tracks that I am playing when

    a) Norton Internet Security has been setup to disable internet access for Windows Media Player

    b) Windows Media Player itself has been configured not to access the internet.

How can this be? I did wonder if the information is being obtained using a port that Norton Internet Security is allowing such as port 80 (HTTP)!

    Regards FarmerJo

If you're playing a store bought cd, the cover is probably embedded on the cd.
