Windows Media Player playlists are links to the songs somewhere else. I want to back up the playlists when I do my backups, but I can't find a path to them. Is there one? I did a restore and had to rebuild all playlists. I'm using Windows ME, but access might be the same on all systems.

It may depend which player you have. The playlists for WMP9 are files with a .wpl extension, though they may be exported with a number of types, like an Excel file, an html file, text file, etc.

By default, the playlists for WMP9 are stored in the "My Playlists" folder inside the "My Music" folder.
