Windows Media Player Crashes

    I am using IE 6.0 and windows 98. after I connect to the internet and go to a site and click on a conference call link, I get windows Media Player (7.01.00.3055) and while it shows connecting it then crashes and reboots. I have tried several times with the same results. I ran my One Button Checkup on Norton Systemworks and tried to no avail.
