Hi folks, I've been having a really strange problem of late.

It seems that Windows Media Player is controlling my sound.

Here's an example. Let's say I'm listening to some music in WMP11, and I go to Youtube to watch a video. As soon as I hit pause on the music, the sound mutes. My volume will be the same, but the 'Wave' volume in the Volume Properties will be dropped to mute.

Then, I'll go and adjust it back up to 3/4, and when I resume playing my music, it will be peaking. I'll check the volume bar again, the Wave will be maxed out.

It's frustrating as hell, any suggestions?
