Windows Media Player 9... a good download?

    has anyone tried media player 9 and ... liked/disliked it? sigh, i know microsoft is catering to an audience, but that audience certianly doesn't include me.

    I recently switched to XP and I updated Media Player as one of my first downloads from Windows Update. So far so good. I have always used Media Player and i have nothing bad to say. It copies my CD's to my harddrive and it transfers my music to my mp3 payer. The latest verison has better support for DVDs and it much more customizable. I would download it if i were you. You can always use system restore if you dont like it.

    My 2 cents.
