I am having trouble when I "open" the guide as it comes up with an error and I have to restart WMC.
I have tried so many things to correct this problem but so far nothing has worked.
Before reinstalling Win 7 as a last resort can someone please tell me the guide's file name and location so I can try deleting it to see if WMC creates a new, uncorrupted copy?

    Thanks

Please post the exact error message.
Many 'guide download' errors can be caused by Internet Security programs' firewalls such as Norton, etc. Simple solution is to disable the firewall or run the guide setup again.

    The error message is:
    Description:
    Stopped working

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: CLR20r3
    Problem Signature 01: ehshell.exe
    Problem Signature 02: 6.1.7600.16385
    Problem Signature 03: 4a5bccdc
    Problem Signature 04: mscorlib
    Problem Signature 05: 2.0.0.0
    Problem Signature 06: 4ef6c7cc
    Problem Signature 07: 41c6
    Problem Signature 08: a3
    Problem Signature 09: System.ApplicationException
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 3081
At this point I have two options:
Check online for a solution to the problem and try to restart the program -
    The two choices:
Check online for a solution and restart the program or
    Restart the program.

Also, the error occurs while all firewalls are turned off.

If "run the guide setup again" means download the guide again, I have tried that many times. Otherwise I don't know how to "run the guide setup ".
