I am in WMC, setting up my TV Tuner Card. It's at, 'Examining TV Signals" for almost an hour now. It's not frozen, I can see the dots adding.
The status bar is about 1/4 the way over, yet it's been almost an hour. I need to go to bed pretty soon.

When I brows the web, do stuff it seems OK, but now when I boot up and shut down it takes longer with the SSD Drive then my old computer with a spinning drive. Haven't timed it but I'd guess about 4 minutes to boot and 5-6 minutes to shut down.

What could be taking so long?

    Chris.

This is a problem with SSD drives. Many people on the internet report a very long time of boot ups and shutdowns with SSD.
Try going back to restore your computer to a time when it booted up fast.

    Thank you,
    Chris.

    Hay, thanks a lot!

I took the WinTV Card out, restored it to a day before I had the problem and, it's back to fast boot up and shutdowns.

    Thanks for the help.

    Chris.
