    Hi

I have sucessfully set up windows mail on my laptop and PC but if I have my PC open I don't receive the message on my laptop, or if my PC is off I only receive the message on the Laptop and not on my PC when I later switch this on.

So I went to the settings and ticked leave a copy of message on the server. (did this on both computers)

With both computers on I do not receive anything on the laptop, but receive duplicates on the PC

Please could you tell me how to fix it so I receive the message on both computers as would sometimes like to save to both computers, or if better so I am not duplicating reading junk, how I can send the message from one computer to the other if it is worth saving.

    Many thanks!

If permitted by your mail provider use IMAP rather than POP3, this leave all mail on the server and you can manage your account from either computer.

I am more than a little surprised that you receive duplicate copies (how many 2 or more?) on your desktop but none on your laptop though, I cannot see anyway that this could happen other than mailbox corruption and even that's unlikely.
