I am sending an HTML message with a PDF attachment from my machine in Outlook 2007 to a friend with two machines
1 - Vista using Windows Mail
1 - XP Home using Outlook Express

Her machines settings allow for HTML mail and indeed she has html mail from other sources in her inboxes now, but my mail arrives in both machines in plain text format and the attachment does not arrive with the message.

If I send the message in plain text the pdf file arrives with the message.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

I can confirm that she can receive mail and attachments from other senders.

This is somewhat baffling. I don't have this issue with anyone else that I send files to so there must be something that I could look to resolve this.

Sounds like some setting on your machine is causing this. Look at your AV settings.

    Could also be your ISP.

    HI:
I would have responded but I was moving and have just got set up again after a trying session with my new ISP.

All settings on the computer appear as they should. She receives HTML mail from other senders, just not me (regardless of the email account I send it from). The ISP is Sympatico in Canada and they indicate that there is no block against my IP address.

Well, like I said: pretty sure the problem is with your settings. You'll have to check them.

Why would I be able to send HTML mail to anyone else without problem?

No idea. This doesn't make any sense, so I will have nothing to add.
