In Windows Mail, go to Tools>Options. In the window that opens, go to the Send tab.

In the "Mail Sending Format" section, make sure HTML is checked, click OK.

If you're trying to click a link after pasting it into the message body, be aware that the link won't be clickable until you send it. Send a test message to yourself with a link in it and see if it's clickable.

i aklready did that and it still wont do anything. i didnt mean the links in the text. on the older outlooks when you would creat a html email you would go to the insert tab and click "text from file" and then choose your html file. on windows mail the "text from file" button is un clickable. and when i try to just copy and paste the html to the message itself it dont code the html but just sends it all as text.

The only other thing I can think of at the moment is back in Tools>Options>Send tab>Mail Sending Format section, click the HTML Settings button and make sure "Quoted Printable" is selected in the drop-down list, click OK.

Of course, how the recipient has their mail client set up will affect how things are displayed at their end, too.

I finaly got it. ill post it for other users.

    Click the creat mail button.
When the window opens up look at the bottom left corner and there are three tabs..
    1:Edit
    2:Source
    3:preview

Click on source to insert your html code and them you can preview by going to the preview tab.

After figuring this out i htought i would give windows live mail a try after hearing it was much better at html emails. Though it is set up much like outlook express was i cant get it to show images at all. So i went from one problem to another it would seem.

In IE go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced tab and scroll down to Multimedia and make sure that there is a check in "Show Pictures ".
