Windows Live Mail Problem

    Installed Win 7 Professional in my wife's PC and added Windows Live Mail without any of the "extra" functions. It works ok BUT when selecting a message and the heading highlights blue - which is normal. Then when selecting another message and its heading highlights - the previous message remains highlighted also. Eventually the previous message highlight may disappear. However sometimes only closing Windows Live Mail will change it. Should I uninstall and reinstall?

    I have a feeling what you're seeing is normal...But stay tuned maybe someone has a trick up their sleeves.

    In Outlook Express and Outlook there is a setting for 'Mark Messages read after x time' - maybe a similar option in WLM which I have not used?
