Windows Installer?!

    I had to repair a windows 2000 installation. Ever since I reran Windows, I can't access MS Office (it's not installed for the current user), and I get the iwndows installer saying 'preparing to install...' about 6 times when I logon, and 4 times when I open IE.. etc. It does it at random times too.

    It does not say what is installing, and I have no idea why this occurrs.

    Any ideas?

    Have you tried re-loading Office? As a user with admin rights to the PC or the domain?
