Windows freezing on installation

    I just got a new graphics card and motherboard the motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-7VKMP and HDD is 120gig i have 1gig ram i just reformated my HDD and trying to install XP Pro again then freezes 35min into any 1 know whats going on??
    i also tryed restarting and reformating it like 5 times and still same problem

    k i am still having a problem with it i took the graphics card out and usein the motherboards graphics card and its is still freezing could it possibly be overheating? my bios reads 50 degrees c for the heat

    Motherboard or CPU?? 50 deg C is in the normal range for the CPU , about half that for the motherboard.

    At what stage of the XP install is it freezing?

    When it is installing the drivers in the middle of installing the first driver it freezes
