I have a problem with the explorer. When I right click on certain icons there is a message that states that something went wrong and windows explorer will restart. I'm going to post both the event viewer log and the hjthis log.

Event viewer log: Faulting application Explorer.EXE, version 6.0.6001.18000, time stamp 0x47918e5d, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6001.18000, time stamp 0x4791a7a6, exception code 0xc0000374, fault offset 0x000b015d, process id 0xd84, application start time 0x01c8f394432fa285.

    HJthis log:

The log entries that are in red could they be the source of my problems? I checked those locations and found the files. I do not know if this would help, but I installed 2 new memory cards a couple of days ago.

The files may not be get "found" because Explorer is not working correctly.

Run Error Checking on the drive/s (also look at running a scan of the disk surface). Look it up in Help and Support if necessary.

If you installed any software for the "memory cards ", uninstall them. Pls describe the cards for us.

Thanks for the link. The shellexview that was offered on the site worked. I was able to isolate which was the problem. I'll post info about it below:

    Extension Name: CmdLineContextMenuClass
    Company: Sony DADC Austria AG.
    Filename: CmdLineExt.dll

Should i delete this file or not? If i have to delete it can i download another one online?

The original cards I have are 2 x 1 gig nanya PC6400 800 Mhz cards. The new cards i bought are 2 x 1 gig Corsair PC6400 800 Mhz cards. I remove the nanya cards from slots 1 & 2 and put them in slots 3 & 4. With the Corsairs, I put them in slots 1 & 2.

CmdLineExt.dll is part of the SecuROM system for anti-piracy of games. If you delete it, you will find your game/s no longer work and you will need to reinstall that game. Work out why it would be running (is the game disk in the CD/DVD drive?). Look for any patches for game/s that use it. Uninstall and reinstall the game that uses it. There are different versions of SecuROM, you may have a clash of different versions.

By "memory card" I thought you meant a storage card like those used for cameras, like an SD Memory Card. You are talking about memory (RAM) modules. Try running just one pair of modules at a time. Look through your motherboard manual, check that the modules are inserted into the correct slots. They may need to be inserted into, say, slots 1 & 3 and 2 & 4 for each pair. The motherboard may not be able to run the different brands together.

I checked the cmdlineext.dll file and it stated that it was modified a few days ago. On that date I downloaded a addon to a game that was installed on there. I checked the official game forums and it stated that the addon was also to update the securom file. Users on the forum were stating the same problem I was having. I have been able to find a fix on the forums and so far no problems. Thanks for the help.
