windows explorer reporting more file space than checkdisk

    Hi,
    windows explorer is reporting ~12 GB free on a NTFS partition, but when I try to move big files to it, I get an out of space error. chkdsk says I only got 1 GB free. I've tried to run chkdsk several times but it wont find any errors. any idea how I could fix this? (utilities that could help me?)
